It is so EMBARASSING that we have bought plenty of this chocolate to relatives came to Singapore as their present when they went back home country.

We will never know what other products categorize as tainted tomorrow.

We’ll see how long these will go, and so far there is NONE of the high level management rank in government has ever opened their voice and talk about it specially on who will be responsible.

Here are some articles from ChannelNewsAsia website that keep saying taking the milk-products from China are considered as Precaution Measures while actually they have failed to checks and let these products slipped and imported into Singapore, and have been consumed widely in Singapore by also their own people…

And here some other, they keep saying China-made Melamine contaminated Milk-products will remain off-the-shelf as long as AVA (the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority) who supposed to scan, checks and apply stringest tests failed to do so, and let these contaminated and poisonous milk-products slipped and imported into Singapore, and again consumed widely.

Well, some small businesses HDB-void-deck shops, will definitely get impacted by this. Even though NTUC FairPrice stated that milk-products which categorized to be tainted/contaminated buyer can return back the products, and request for refunds. Yes, how about those products which has been consumed and digested in every human-being here? And later found to be poisonous and generate sickness? Who will be responsible for these?

As you may have known, these kind of deseases will NOT immediately show their symptoms, but will take at least several months after consumption will then generate the symptoms. Perhaps by then, a new product(s) will be found and categorized as also contaminated… and the people who sick due to the current contamination will be considered and newly found case and categorized as nothing related to this current FAULTY of the security checks.

After few weeks back, there was a concerns on Valet-Parking service in Holland Village Singapore, as they said people are NOT satisfied with this service to find the parking lots which is very difficult in that amenity.

That valet-parking was stamped as ILLEGAL business and creating disturbance in the society in that Holland Village, and the conclusion is that the Valet-Parking private service needed to be stopped permanently, and left the two old-indian men who ran the service stranded as jobless again.

Today morning, I read in the newspaper, the article comes alive “SMOOTH PARKING in the VILLAGE” greeted by the red-polo t-shirt “PARKING MARSHALL” – a legalized valet-parking with a new face-lift opens for public service with a new different ‘meaning’ – guided driver to the nearer empty parking-lot.

A new legalized guiding valet-parking with the name ‘parking marshall’ has been introduced in the same area amenity called ‘Holland Village’ in Singapore.

Now the question will be, why don’t help the old ‘Valet-Parking’ service ran by the two indian old-men become legalized business and help them to grow their business? Instead of ‘killed them’ instantly and made a new face-lift legalized assistance ‘Guided Parking Marshall’?

Well, this is Singapore, everything must be made legalized under the law.

Finger pointing is always the best thing to do, as long as the imported-products’ certificate is at hand and stated there is no dangerous material in the contents, then the products is legally imported without any THOROUGH checks…

Well, checks are conducted only for some specifics materials like E.Coli and Salmonella (which caused food-poisoning scare last December), and chemical residues like pesticides and veterinary drugs.

As the above article stated, and the materials that the authority checks, it is clearly indicated that they will always do the checks specially for those which has ever been reported and tested by human-being and caused problem in the past.

So you see, there is a very likely indicator that as long as there is NOTHING happens, there is NO need to specifically check for any dangerous materials content.

In one of the paragraph, there are some question people throw, but I’m very sure there will be NOBODY will answer on why these products can slip into Singapore, consumed and WITHOUT any security checks in it.

Their questions are:

What is safe to buy? What is NOT safe to buy (as of today)? (What about tomorrow? Would there be any new products found to be categorized as dangerous? What about those we have eaten and someday found to be dangerous by other countries? – as this Melamine scandal also found by other country FIRST!)

Was there any lapse in SINGAPORE system?

How these contaminated products slipped past the AGRI-FOOD and VETERINARY AUTHORITY’s (AVA) stringent checks? – Well, they claimed as stringent btw…

How can we ensure that history does NOT repeat in the future? – Well, human-being is the very good quality controller, the more sensitive the human-body the better and slimmer chance that the problem will be repeating again in SINGAPORE – a nice and good branding advises to keep eating and consumes all products as much as possible so our next generation will be healthier and better living, aren’t they?

Should food safety checks be scaled up? Well, as always, when new case comes up, the same question thrown out to public, in SINGAPORE everything is always “reactive-action” instead of “proactive-action” remember that, so when new case comes, then that materials will be checked and categorized as dangerous.

Usually law will be enforced as well against Melamine-contained imported products will be no longer permitted to be imported to Singapore… well, as always, Melamine contaminated is always with us since long years and has victims falling due to this contaminated… then Authority might start to banned this products to enter Singapore.

Human-being consumers in Singapore is always the BEST quality-controllers here, as long as NO victims (plural form) falls with all the same symptoms, then there will be no product banned to be imported into Singapore.

Hahahahaha… me and my family has been eating this “White Rabbit” brand candy from China since we were all very young, now then we know that it is also categorized as melamine-tainted products from China…

Impressive after several tens of years, we have been accummulating melamine in our body then at this age we just found out that this is categorized as dangerous products for human-body.

The above is what has been published from ChannelNewsAsia.com website, an official website from Singapore broadcasting company MediaCorp to the public.

Is all other imported products in Singapore considered as Safe or “Safe” as long as no reported case?
