Singapore Social Life

A husband, a father, a son, a man, a human-being made the biggest mistake in his life by having a love-affair with a China-born woman in Singapore… which turn to be the most expensive thing he has ever had to pay in his life.

I pray for you Mr. Eu… May GOD have mercy on you and bless your family.

The price-tag is his life.

All these while, I thought Singapore is the most age-less society and most professional, and even we have law that protecting people from being harrased and discriminated, or even racialized.. well, read again what the law stated, the law is just to ‘recommend’ employer to respect the dignity of human-being.

When first filter is now applied to be as “Are you above 40 years old?” – plenty of eye-brows raised on this interesting article of human-race in Singapore very own.

There are still people spend their precious time giving some support of this article from their own real-life experience in Singapore’s society.

When business is more civilized then human-being, is what created Singapore very own society.

What we know everyone is unique, but what we know best in this place, will never get any comparable in any other place. SO again, we’re unique… Courtesy is something, we’re well-proud of, decended from ancestors long before even you know it.

Here is one infamous article of how infamous we are…

So now you expect us to modify what is rooted in our gene for generations?

Here is what the article says about “Ugly-Singaporeans” their boasting, their powerful and mighty fingers of complaints, their acceptance in the world society community.

For something that has rooted deep down, you can never change it as it is always carried down to their own kind.

Based from what the Newspaper article statement:

“HE WAS both a brilliant student, and a loner who loved his manga comics and World of Warcraft.
David Hartanto Widjaja was in his final year at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and, in the words of a fellow undergraduate at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), shoo-in “first class honours material”. After all, he’d represented Indonesia in the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2005, and taken part in his country’s National Science Olympics the year before.”

At that age of a man, he is no longer a boy with unstable emotional feeling who has ended his brilliant mind that way, what would have happened to him, will still become an untold story – which will never be uncovered.

What is the actual fact that might have insulted or intimated “the boy”, and why would he do such thing to an honourable professor whom the article stated as:
“Prof Chan, who joined NTU in 1992 and serves as deputy director of its Biomedical Engineering Research Centre, is said to be in stable condition. The attack stunned Prof Chan’s former students. Ms Stephanie Ng, who graduated in 2007, said Prof Chan “was a fair teacher who was friendly, got along well with students and was not the kind who comes off as stern”.

There’s always one side of the story which is always covered.

Thank you for these a few good ‘human beings’ in Singapore, that has extended their hands to these abandoned migrant workers here.

We pray for God’s blessing to you people, may God returns to you in so much more. We glad on what you did, is totally based on graciousness as human being, without any hesitation that other people in society might think on what you did is for popularity – I’m sure you’re not doing that for popularity.

Here is another case but they call them as Migrant Workers instead of Foreign Workers in Singapore, where their employer(s) do not want to be responsible anymore for their welfare after the pinch was so hard to them.

What is actually the different between Migrant Workers vs. Foreign Workers while both have been treated the same by Singapore’s employers after they brought into Singapore by paying huge amount of money, and a mountain high debt in their home country?

We will see whether any official ministry or government be involved in the resolution, or they will still stick their attention to their own local people first based on the policy ‘First for Singaporeans’ – while these migrant workers brought into Singapore just to keep their own local business competitive and running smoothly in production.

Do we treat these ‘HEROES’ this way?
